Fuzzy Adaptive PI Clock Synchronization Algorithm Based on Kalman Filter

A clock synchronization algorithm combining Kalman filter and fuzzy adaptive PI (proportional-integral) is proposed in this paper. Because of the system clock synchronization error caused by the delay jitter of the protocol stack and the CPU interrupt processing delay in the distributed network system. This algorithm uses Kalman filter to obtain the estimated value of clock offset and compensates the offset by introducing an adaptive fuzzy PI controller. While effectively filtering noise, it also improves the response speed of the slave clock and realizes the master-slave high precision and fast synchronization of the clock.
