Multi-regions Bundled Planning of Wind Farm, Thermal, Energy Storage with Renewable Energy Consumption

Renewable energy and renewable energy consumption is vital in enhancing carbon neutral worldwide. However, present research on multi-regions bundled planning often focus on the aspects of wind and thermal bundled power system planning and energy storage, etc. Research on multi-regions bundled planning of wind farm, thermal power, energy storage with renewable energy consumption is scarce. This paper first introduces indices of bundle proportion and wind power adequacy in transmission expansion planning (BWT-STEP) model which takes into account consumption ratio and energy storage. Then relevant BWT-STEP model and difference of involving energy storage in sending end is innovated. Finally, validity of the proposed model is verified by a modified two-regional RTS-24 system, and the results indicate that the BWT-STEP model is effective for power system planning studies.
