Fourier Analysis of Voltage and Currents in AC/DC Traction Substations

This study encompasses a comprehensive analysis of the three-phase power transformer - three-phase rectifier assembly operating in AC/DC traction substations. In order to improve the sustainability of traction substation operation, a Fourier analysis is performed to establishing the harmonics spectrum of both rectified voltage and power transformer currents, and their further effects. This study demonstrates that identifying the most important interrelations of the interacting systems, the forecast based on mathematical models enlarges our reliance on the world systems functionality.
