Possibilities for applying machine learning in dairy cattle breeding

The development of machine learning techniques and the omnipresence of machine learning models in the last decade has opened diverse possibilities for their implementation in all research areas. Deep learning methods stand out among the most efficient tools, driven by the extensive growth of the acquired and available data in all areas, as well as the significant technological advances in graphical processors and the research in this field. This study aims to explore the potential of applying machine learning in dairy cattle breeding, by surveying similar examples in the field, and to consider the possible selection of a dataset for training the model with the objective of finding the quantitative description of the key parameters in breeding tasks.
