Biochip for Detection of Target Protein Markers Using Deposited Luminophore Re-Emission Layer

The paper considers the design and topology of a biochip based on peptide aptamers with spatial complementarity to the target disease marker proteins. Peptide aptamers are developed based on the method of conjugated hydrogen-ionic bonds systems (CIHBS) for troponin, myoglobin and myeloproxidase. A biochip is a multilayer structure based on a combination of microelectronic and microfluidic technologies. Since the method of detecting the formation of the target protein - peptide aptamer complex involves not using fluorescent labels, but direct detection of the protein based on its natural fluorescence, materials for each of the layers of the chip are carefully selected and their optical and chemical properties have been studied. For re-emission of proteins fluorescence into the visible region of the spectrum, which can be recorded by standard CMOS cameras, the optimal luminophore was selected and deposited on the UV light filter. The elements of the biochip body and the detection system are made using 3D-printing technology.
