Investigation of the Accuracy of Existing Methods for Calculating the Single-Phase Ground Fault Current in a Coalmining Enterprise

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the accuracy of existing methods for determining the capacitive current relative to the ground for the 6 kV distribution network of a mining enterprise. The calculation of capacitive currents flowing in the outgoing connections of the electric network in the single-phase ground fault mode is performed using various existing methods. An experiment of a single-phase ground fault in an active distribution network was conducted, based on the results of which the obtained values of capacitive currents made it possible to determine the errors of known calculation methods.
