Influence of Vehicles Design and Engineering Parameters on the Onboard Electrical Complex Interference Immunity

The article presents the results of a series of experiments that determine the influence of design and technological parameters of vehicles on the noise immunity of the on-board electrical complex. The vehicle is a complex receiving antenna. The geometric dimensions of the slots and openings in the body determine the level of penetration into the interior of the electromagnetic radiation. If the length of the slit is a multiple of the length of the incident wave, then it is an effective re-emitter of the field into the interior of the vehicle. From the point of view of electrodynamics, the holes in the first approximation also represent transcendental waveguides. Their critical frequency is the lower, the larger the hole. A visual analysis of slots and holes indicates that the vehicle body is not an effective shield. Here the magnitude of the spread in the field amplitude within the vehicle of the same models and configurations will depend on their identity of geometric parameters.
