Charting A Pathway to Leadership [Women in Engineering]

In this issue's “Women in Engineering” column, Kathleen L. Melde, professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Arizona, Tucson, reports some considerations and lessons learned during her career about leadership, providing a different angle of view for women and men in engineering. Her experiences have had a significant impact on her current role as associate dean for faculty affairs and inclusion in the College of Engineering, supporting staff members and students in a large public university.
