When Can We Go Back to Normal for Developing Standards?

As the Covid-19 pandemic spread in 2020, almost every part of IEEE was impacted. Conferences, journals and publications, governance, and standards processes had to pivot almost overnight as the impact of the virus closed down travel, offices, universities and businesses. Almost everyone shifted to remote working from our homes. Despite the jarring change, the IEEE SA developed a record number of standards in 2020.
