Evacuation Guidance System Using Beacon Information and Dijkstra's Algorithm

To ensure smooth and reliable evacuation in the event of a fire, it is necessary to consider dynamic evacuation guidance for each evacuee without the need for a management server or an external power supply. This study aimed to construct an autonomous evacuation guidance system that uses screen displays and voice guidance on a mobile device in each room of an operational facility. In this system, all information is transmitted only as beacons. This paper describes the communication between a fire alarm and a mobile device, sharing information about the occurrence of a fire between mobile devices, self-position estimation of a mobile device, automatic determination of evacuation exits and routes for a mobile device, and an evacuation guidance experiment that integrates them.
