ALOS-PALSAR Quad Pol Data and Image Archive for Monitoring the Earth Environment

Precise monitoring of the earth cover and its historical archive are very important for preserving the healthy earth environment. Since the majority of quad pol data sets acquired with ALOS-PALSAR have been saved unprocessed, National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology have completed full-processing and opened a website on which everyone can search, view and download the global data. These numerous data sets including SLC as well as ortho-rectified scattering power decomposition images can be utilized freely for checking the long-term temporal variation of the land cover. They will serve as a good reference for advanced microwave remote sensing.
