Study on active Harmonic Suppression on DC side of twelve pulse thyristor rectifier System

In order to reduce the harmonic content in the power system injected by the multi-pulse thyristor rectifier system, an active circuit is proposed to suppress the harmonic in the DC side of the rectifier system. According to the relationship between the AC and DC side currents of the thyristor rectifier system, the required DC side injected current waveform when the injected grid current is sinusoidal wave is obtained, and the final realized injected current waveform is also solved. According to the required DC side injection current waveform, a half-bridge PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)inverter circuit is designed. The simulation results show that the harmonic suppression effect is good when the inverter is running.
