Research on the Method of Improving Long-distance Link Transmission Rate Based on TCP Window Size

With the rapid development of network services, metropolitan area network networking has been widely used in large-scale wide area networks of group company headquarters and branch offices. When users located in the branch structure of the WAN access the application services of the headquarters through a long-distance link, the transmission rate is frequently too slow, which seriously affects the user experience of the WAN. This paper will carry out corresponding verification tests and analysis for this problem, combined with the relevant principles of TCP window size in TCP/IP protocol cluster, and propose a method to improve the transmission rate of large-scale WAN networks.
