Analysis of the influence of land-sea impedance surface on antenna radiation performance

The propagation properties of electromagnetic waves radiated by vertical electric dipole on different surfaces such as land or sea water are discussed. The problem is studied by the method of moments and the modified mirror image method, which can improve the calculation efficiency. The influence of impedance surface and other factors are analyzed. The simulation results show that the characteristic parameters of seawater media have some influence on the radiation performance of electromagnetic waves, and the effects of different factors on the radiation performance are proposed. It has certain significance to the design and engineering practice of VLF communication antenna.
