The Grey Predictions of Maintenance Support Costs of Missile Weapon System

The predictions of maintenance support costs are an important part of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) management of missile weapon system. In view of poor information and lacking of samples of weapon system’s maintenance costs data, Grey theory is applied to predict the maintenance costs of weapon system. A certain type of missile is taken as an example. And an interval prediction of Grey forecasting model obtains for its maintenance cost. After examining, the method is practical and effective, which provides a theoretical basis to control and save the cost of missile weapon system.
