Millimeter-Wave Linearly-Polarized Dielectric Reflectarray Using 3D Printing

This paper presents a millimeter-wave linearly-polarized dielectric reflectarray. It is fabricated by three-dimensional (3D) printing using a material with high dielectric constant of 10. Each unit cell has an elliptical dielectric resonator at the center and two rectangular arms for connecting the adjacent elements. For demonstration, a dielectric reflectarray with 16×16 elements was designed in the Ka band centered at 35 GHz. A peak antenna gain of 22.67 dBi was obtained.
