History and Pedagogy Mathematics in Mathematics Education: On the Causes of Learning Difficulties in Advanced Mathematics

This paper deals with students' learning difficulties in advanced mathematics. In the learning process of advanced mathematics, many students may fear or dislike math, resulting in learning difficulties. As mathematical teachers, we have probed into the phenomenon and found the reasons for it. In the teaching practice, it is found that history-oriented teaching mode can facilitate the teaching and learning of advanced mathematics. History and pedagogy of mathematics is an efficient way in mathematics education.
