Student Research Competition (TALE SRC)

Short Description-For the first time in the history of the TALE conferences, the TALE 2020 featured a student research competition (TALE SRC). The TALE SRC gives students the opportunity to share their research ideas and results in a special forum that provides visibility for their work and to meet with and interact with TALE research community. The TALE SRC consists of two categories: undergraduate and graduate, with prizes awarded based on judging during the conference. This year, 7 submissions were accepted to present in the TALE SRC. Four presentations were delivered in the conference venue-the VirBELA virtual campus, accompanied by real-time Q&A after each presentation. Due to schedule conflict and technical issues, one presentation was pre-recorded, and 2 presentations were given through the Whereby platform. Real-time Q&A was not feasible for these presenters, but offline Q&A were achieved through email exchange. The winners in each category were announced in the Conference Banquet.
