Boundary conditions at interfaces for the case of thin semi conductive layer on insulating surface

The main purpose of this work is the discussion of interface condition according to the media beside the interface for the case of insulator covered with thin layer of pollution subjected to electric field stress. The deposit of pollution on the insulator surface is treated as a semiconductive thin layer and boundary conditions are described for cases of interfaces between: dielectric/conductor, dielectric/dielectric, semi conductive/dielectric and demi conductive/conductor. The charge densities at the interfaces change over time. Gaussian equation which involves the difference between electrical induction vectors and Maxwell equation is used. Influence of surface conductivity and permittivity of the thin layer on potential distribution is investigated for the case of 2D linear insulator model subjected to DC high voltage.
