Fast carrier frequency offset compensation in OFDM systems

A speed-up algorithm to compensate the carrier frequency offset of OFDM systems is proposed when the offset closes to 0.5n, n=/spl plusmn/1, /spl plusmn/3, ..., times a sub-carrier space. We generate an additional offset compulsively after examining the closeness of the frequency offset to the points.
