Congestion Control of HPLC in New Power Distribution and Consumption Services

Based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM),high-speed power line carrier communication technology (HPLC) has been applied in power consumption information collection system on a large scale. However, in view of the collection requirements of various new power distribution and consumption services, the collection services of HPLC network face with different efficiency problems. In this paper, aiming at different business characteristics, the congestion control mechanism of HPLC network in various scenarios are designed. The best parameters configuration of congestion control of all kinds of new collection services in typical network scenarios is obtained through simulations. The design results of this paper have also been effectively verified in the field tests as well, which can effectively realize congestion control in new power distribution and consumption services and effectively support the collection requirements of new distribution services.
