Analysis and Simulation of Energy Router Suitable for Metro Power Supply Network

Energy Router(ER) is the core of metro energy Internet construction. The paper proposes an ER based on dual DC bus. First, with the high voltage 1500V DC bus and the low voltage 600V DC bus as the core, 35kV AC grid, catenary, station load, Photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage are interconnected through multiple ports. Second, to analyze the working mode of the ER based on the traction characteristics of the metro. Then combined with the control method of each port, a coordinated control strategy is proposed to realize the flexible and autonomous distribution of electric energy. Finally, the metro power supply network based on the ER is built in Simulink. The results show that the combination of ER and metro power supply network solves the problems of serious regenerative braking energy loss, uncontrollability of electric energy, and low new energy consumption capacity.
