Research on Breaking Power Flow Algorithm of Offshore Platform Power Grid Based on Parameter Sensitivity

Breaking power flow analysis of offshore platform power grid (OPPG) is the premise to ensure its security. Firstly, based on the extended power flow model of OPPG in this paper, the base-case power flow is calculated by using Newton-Raphson (NR). Then, the state variable-branch admittance sensitivity matrix quantitative describing the influence of branch disconnection on state variables which is deduced in the light of submarine cables and transformers. On this basis, the breaking power flow algorithm in OPPG based on parameter sensitivity is proposed. Finally, the breaking power flow analysis on account of submarine cable and transformer disconnection according to an actual OPPG is carried out. The results show the accuracy and rapidity of the proposed approach.
