Practical Framework for 5G None Stand Alone Deployment: Iran 5G Pilot Case Study

In this paper a practical framework for 5G none stand alone deployment has been presented and Iran 5G Pilot is considered as a case study. The Iranian first 5G communication pilot has been deployed in Iran Telecommunication Research Center (ITRC) in corporation with MTN Irancell, one of the major MNOs in Iran. The test results show about 1 km
²
coverage in ITRC, and the test results 1.530 Gbps download data rate, 119 Mbps upload data rate in average. Also electromagnetic radiation intensity of the launched pilot has been measured and monitored live.
