Research on the Classic Block Interface Design of Mobile Games

With the rapid development of the popular mobile game entertainment industry, the types and forms of games are emerging one after another. The public can use fragmented time games to reduce heavy work pressure, which to achieve a relaxed and comfortable experience. Use questionnaires and semi-structured interviews to understand players' preferences and opinions on the new use of old things. This study focuses on the design of the cube game interface, with the influencing factors of visual perception as the main axis. It explores the main influencing factors of a classic block game interface design. The experiment is a between-subjects design using one-way ANOVA to examine the three different operation modes, i.e., “Handheld,” “Gems” and “Tetris” types. These experimental data were obtained through task performance and subjective evaluation. The results indicate that: (1) The visual cues of the game interface design affect user perception. (2) The interface icons affect the user's visual perception, and the three operating modes have significant differences, players are most satisfied with “Gem.” (3) There is a significant difference in the main effect of operation modes, with the “Handheld” type taking the least amount of time.
