Grounded Lossy Inductance Simulator Using Single FTFNTA

In this study, two topologies are proposed for the realization of grounded lossy inductance simulator, which performs as series RL or parallel RL impedances, using only one active FTFNTA (Four Terminal Floating Nullor Transconductance Amplifier) circuit and three grounded passive components. The designed lossy inductance simulator exhibits electronic tuning altered by the bias current of the FTFNTA. Also, the values of equivalent resistance and inductance are individually and independently controllable by changing the magnitude of different passive components. To validate the workability of the proposed design, it is used in a Passive RLC filter. All simulations are performed by the PSPICE simulator and these simulated results verify the theoretical interpretation.
