General Gross Error Identification for Maximum-error Specification and Measurement Uncertainty

A general gross error identification method based on Pauta criterion is put forward, which is used to make maximum-error specification and evaluate the measurement uncertainty in the automatic test system. The original Pauta criterion is modified to a general form by risk analysis on Type I Error. The critical reference for identifying gross error is recalculated and the general Pauta criterion is developed. Then a redefined expanded standard uncertainty is developed. Practical application shows that the method is feasible.
