Analysis and Implementation of Series Excitation DC Motor Control System

With the development of society and the improvement of human environmental awareness, low pollution, high-performance motors have broad application prospects. Series-excited DC motors have the advantages of low cost, strong overload capacity, and easy speed adjustment. They are widely used in various industries. This paper analyzes the working principle of series-excited DC motors and studies the control strategy of series-excited DC motors. According to the control requirements of the motor, the system takes STM32 as the main controller and designs the software and hardware of the control system. The hardware circuit part of the system includes the motor speed detection circuit, power supply circuit, protection circuit, etc. The software part of the system mainly introduces the system programming flow chart. The uC/OS-II operating system is cited in the software design and the programming is based on the operating system.
