A Route Planning Algorithm for Privacy Protection of UAV States against Eavesdropping

The security of UAV network has received increasing attention recently. Because of the complex communication environment, packet loss in the communication between UAV and ground base station may occur. Moreover, there may be some eavesdroppers hiding somewhere trying to capture the information from the UAV. Therefore, information leakage is inevitable. To ensure the reliability and privacy of the system, a new method is put forward in this paper on planning the UAV's flying track to reduce risk. To solve the problem of UAV security, we make the inertia weight keep going down in the simplified mean particle swarm optimization algorithm. From the simulation results we can see that the method introduced in this paper can find a global suboptimal solution in a short time, which is an effective and easily implemented method to deal with the security issues of UAV communication.
