Wideband and Low Profile Miniaturized Magneto-Electric Dipole Antenna for 5G mmWave Applications

A wideband and low-profile magneto-electric (ME) dipole antenna with a two-stage meandering via and a novel shorting pin is presented for 5G mmWave applications. The two-stage meandering via is designed to compensate the small phase difference between radiation apertures when thin substrate is used. The thickness of proposed antenna can be reduced from 0.25 λ
