Research on Wind Speed Probability Density and Modeling of Transmission Line Tower

In the study of meteorological conditions for power line design, wind speed is the key consideration. Gale is one of the most serious natural disasters that cause failure of overhead lines. In this paper, based on the measured method of multi-point synchronous horizontal wind speed in open and flat terrain of 66kV power transmission line, taking the measured wind speed data as the research object, the multi variable empirical mode decomposition method is used to establish the non-stationary wind speed model, and on this basis, the influence of wind speed distribution of transmission line tower pole is discussed. It can be seen from the experiment of modeling and simulation that the wind speed output by the wind speed physical model is closer to the actual wind speed, which provides a guarantee and basis for the analysis of the impact of wind speed probability density of the transmission line.
