An Energy control strategy of fuel cell hybrid Unmanned Surface Vehicle based on PMP algorithm

This project designs and realizes the hybrid electric surface unmanned vehicle which uses hydrogen as fuel. The power system consists of fuel cell and energy storage cell. The fuel cell is the main drive system, while the power cell is used as the energy storage system to jointly supply power when necessary. Firstly, the power system architecture is designed. Then, based on Pontriagin's minimum principle and the principle of minimum equivalent fuel consumption, the power distribution algorithm of fuel cell and power cell is designed. Finally, the simulation results show that the strategy is feasible. It also reduces the output power fluctuation of fuel cell, which is of great significance for improving the life of fuel cell system. The significance of this system is to design and implement a very simple fuel cell hybrid power system according to the characteristics of small power unmanned aerial vehicle. As the main power of the vehicle, fuel cell has smaller weight and stronger endurance, compared with the pure power battery. Moreover, charging is unnecessary under the same power.
