Analysis of Short Circuit Fault Detection of Power Switch of Impedance-source Inverter Based on Shoot-through Characteristic

This paper carried out the detection research on the power switch short circuit fault of the three-phase Impedance-source inverter. Based on the shoot-through characteristics of the three-phase Impedance-source inverter, the fault characteristics of the inverter when the power switch short-circuit fault occurred are analyzed. The power switch fault detection of the Impedance-source inverter is performed through a simple external detection circuit, and a fault information will be sent to the CPU. The fault detection model of the Impedance-source inverter is established through simulation, which verifies the accuracy of detecting the power switch short-circuit fault using the shoot-through characteristic.
