Supermarket Retail – Based Demand and Price Prediction of Vegetables

Vegetable wastage may be identified at certain times in Sri Lanka. It can be either a waste of certain vegetables or a lack of them. We proposed a method in this paper that can forecast the future price and demand of retail vegetables. Another major key area that we address in our project is the verification of the source of vegetables using blockchain in the supply chain and the best supplier selection. For this, we use a vegetable tracking mechanism to improve transparency within the vegetable supply chain and to select the best supplier we use the weighted sum ranking method.
