Micromanagement's impact on banks' performance

Debates about whether micromanagement leadership style is always harmful for the organization or can sometimes yield positive outcomes are widely conducted nowadays. This article investigates the impact of the micromanagement on the banks' performance by examining the perception of banks' managers and employees toward such leadership style. Data were primarily collected from interviews with 10 bank's managers to give weight for each variable than from surveys distributed to 228 employees that occupy different positions in the bank. Cronbach Alfa test (0.769) was used to justify the internal reliability of the survey. The outcomes are represented through descriptive analysis statistics and the significance of the developed hypotheses was tested using Chi-Square and Spearman's correlation analysis test. Findings revealed that although the majority of the micromanagement traits used are negatively affecting the bank, still, there are some that don't cause any harm proving that every work environment needs an adjusted leadership style that best fits into it.
