Application of Multi-resolution Model in Nonlinear Modeling of Electrical Equipment

The more electric aircraft increases the new type of electromechanical equipment. The complex equipment integrates the power electronic device, the motor, the mechanical transmission device and the microprocessor. The structure is nonlinear and the nonlinear control is adopted. The nonlinear structure of electrical equipment is the main effect factor for power supply stability, the electromagnetic compatibility, the mechanical coupling and other issues. Especially, for the integrated simulation of electrical system, the digital model of electrical equipment is required to represent the nonlinear characteristic and the suitable calculation speed accurately. This paper takes the speed control system of brushless DC motor driven by the electrical power as an example, and proposes the multi-resolution model based on the frequency band to describe the nonlinear problem. The model is based on the multi-physical domain power conversion. The different frequency band models describe each nonlinear problem, which make the model output perform the nonlinear effect accurately. As the multi-resolution model is linearized, it has the fast calculation speed for the large-scale integrated simulation relatively.
