Advanced Health Assessment of Generator by Diagnostic Reasoning

Condition assessment is the core competence of diagnostician to safeguard the generator. This paper summarized the diagnostic reasoning in advanced health assessment of dielectric insulation system. State-of-art diagnostic test tools are briefed. Importance of machine knowledge in interpretation is outlined. Case studies are presented to highlight the valuable contribution of diagnosticians in assessing the health.
