An Analysis of Microwave Radiators in Order to Diminish the Array Scan Blindness

The paper deals with the problem-oriented study concerned with improvement of electromagnetic wave radiators working in the centimeter and decimeter wavelength regions. The investigation of miniaturization of the radiators key elements is underlined when designing the four types of radiators. The problem is solved along with the maintaining of matching of the radiators with the 50 and 75 Ohm coaxial lines and waveguides. It is shown that the radiation patterns obtained are not worse than that of the prototypes. All the radiators mentioned are designed with the use of heuristic methods based on the two Russian patents with the Novosibirsk State Technical University as a copyright holder.
