Assessing the Influence of Ephemeris-Time Information Accuracy on Code Based Positioning

The article focuses on the evaluation of the influence of the satellite ephemerides and clock offsets accuracy on the code based positioning accuracy for GLONASS users. The accuracy of ephemeride-time information, consisting of ephemerides and frequency-time corrections for satellite time scales, significantly affects the positioning accuracy. To assess the impact of each component, their component-wise analysis was performed. The analysis involved nine types of sources for ephemerides and frequency-time corrections. The presented results were obtained for the receiver located in FSUE “VNIIFTRI”. The results of the research showed that frequency-time corrections have the greatest impact on the user positioning accuracy.
