Outage Analysis of Uplink NOMA Based FD Decode-and-Forward Cooperative Relay System

In this paper, a new non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) based full-duplex decode-and-forward relay (NOMA-FDR) system is proposed and analyzed. In the proposed model, the uplink NOMA concept is utilized to transmit symbols with the help of a full-duplex relay. An exact closed form expression for the outage probability of the transmitted signal in the proposed system model is derived. The outage probability of the proposed system model is compared with the recently proposed models. The paper also explore the effect of power allocation factors and detection threshold on the outage performance. Monte Carlo simulations are performed to verify the accuracy of the derived analytical results.
