Application of GA with Multi-Objective optimization in control of two-parallel Inverter Based Microgrid

A multi-objective function genetic algorithm is proposed in this article to optimize the controller gains of the proportional and integral (PI) control law for a two-parallel inverter system. Moreover, a comprehensive structure of the two-parallel inverter-based Microgrid (MG) with distributed control is presented in this paper. The controlled system is characterized by Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT). The distributed control is designed in a d-q reference frame with the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) adapted as a switching technique. The controller performance is validated through MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation. The obtained results show that the current and the power-sharing are appropriately reached.
