Toward Network Intellectualization in 6G

After the first deployments of the fifth generation (5G) networks, research on 6G system has begun. The paper summarizes the characteristics of future 6G services and applications, presents an overview of enabling technologies and focuses on the role of artificial intelligence in improving end user quality of experience and in network optimization.
