Universal Biquad Fractional order Filter Using Single LT1228 IC

In this paper, a voltage mode (VM) fractional order filter, capable of providing fractional low pass filter response (FLPF), fractional high pass filter response (FHPF), fractional band pass filter response (FBPF) and fractional band reject response (FBRF) along with tunability has been presented. The modified circuit employs a single commercially available Integrated Circuit, namely, LT1228 along with two fractional order capacitors (designed using Oustaloup approximation). PSPICE simulation results of all the filters mentioned above have also been presented.
