Space Visualization of Rotating Magnetic Field Using Lissajous Curves

This document depicts Space Visualization of Rotating Magnetic Field using Lissajous Curves. Conducting magnetic measurements usually is cumbersome and tiring. These difficulties in conducting magnetic measurements can be overcome by designing an analogy between Magnetic Field and Electric Field and exploiting it since Electric Field can be measured easily. We have proposed a method by which we can visualize the Rotating Magnetic Field (RMF) produced in an induction motor on the screen of a 2-channel CRO using Lissajous Patterns, by exploiting the fact that magnetic fields and the current producing them have a definite relationship.
