IOT Based Soil Testing Instrument For Agriculture Purpose

Agriculture is the backbone in the Indian economy. To farmers development in new technologies will help them to have better farming activities. Without having the information about the soil nature it will be difficult for the farmers to have the cultivation process in an effective manner. The conventional method of farming is a time consuming process as it employs the human labor collect the data and take it to laboratory for testing purpose and results. Internet of Things (IoT) addresses necessary challenges to design the intelligent practices in agriculture. Present work furnishes the soil monitoring system using wireless sensor networks enabled Thing speak cloud platform using sensors for measurement of remote monitoring of soil moisture, temperature, humidity and NPK value. The farmer can access the fertility of soil on their mobile application and intelligent method which suits the requirement of the crop in the respective fields for better yield. Thus the developed technology helps to know the soil Attributes in real time making the soil testing process easier and economic.
