Collision Detection by Use of Frequency Selective Surface (FSS)

Daily mortality due to motor vehicle accidents is a cause of concern as there is a shift from manually driven automobiles to completely autonomous driving vehicles. Collision between two or more vehicles is one of the most common accident that occurs every day. Thus, the sensing system used in such autonomous vehicles need to be accurate and fast acting. Research work address the issues in autonomous sensing system through an antenna design to detect car collision and its position to safeguard the user against the accident and provide safe zone.
