The System to Measure Around Shape for Health Management

At present, a physical examination is often implemented manually by using measuring instruments, such as tape measures, or the like. Therefore, when the number of participants to be measured increases, it takes a long time to measure. In order to resolve the problem, we are developing a device that can measure around the hip and the waist automatically. Although our system increases the speed of measuring by using a light section method, the problem still is remained in terms of accuracy.
