Research on Erosive Wear of Electric Submersible Pump Impellers on Offshore Platforms

As a key component of the offshore platform, the electric submersible pump plays a vital role in oilfield exploitation. Aiming at the problem that the impeller is susceptible to erosion and abrasion during the production process of the electric submersible pump, this paper uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) numerical simulation to explore the relationship of impeller erosion wear strength and some factors (such as the size of gravel in the oil, oil density, oil viscosity) in order to provide effective reference for the daily maintenance of the impeller.
