Supply and Demand Balance of Submersible Linear Switched Reluctance Motor with Variable Stroke Frequency Adjustment

In order to increase the oil production of low-yield oil wells, this paper proposes a supply and demand balance control strategy. That realizes the matching of oil supply capacity and oil production rate by adjusting the stroke frequency. The working environment in oil wells is harsh, therefor the linear switched reluctance motors are used as submersible motors. The submersible motor is controlled by current chopping to follow the given stroke frequency. Sensorless control is used to improve the reliability. The mathematical model of the pumping system is established, which respectively simulates with the supply and demand balance control and the traditional intermittent oil production control. The oil production under the two control strategies was compared, and the results verified the effectiveness of the control system.
