An approach for application generation based on BPMN

Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) provides a graphical representation of business processes of organizations. It becomes a standard to communicate throughout stakeholders from business analysts, customers and programmers by producing an overview of business processes under a common language in analysis and design phases of software life cycle. The paper proposes an approach to integrate business process specifications and their implementations and by introducing some extended elements in the BPMN models with an appropriate mapping mechanism. It is a semi-automatic approach to build an application from BPMN models.
